At the moment this is just a placeholder site. But it’s a good way to keep things in one place. Just searching for the right kind of blog to host it.
Right now I’m working on a “piano only” album, it’s going to be along the line of my “a sad piano song”. That piece is pretty defining of my style when it comes to piano, nothing flashy, dark, moody and maybe bit more modern. Simple? Yes. Yes it is, and i take no shame in it. I write the piano music i want to hear, and you can probably easily spot my influences from Yann Tiersen, Phillip Glass and some Clint Mansell.
And I’m no Jordan Rudess when it comes to piano, far from it, piano is actually my weakest instrument technique wise, but i try to take the good from that, and leave the technical playing to other players :) (and for my other compositions).
Short film made for the song, by Brett Driver. Superbly done, one of the best, most professional short films (at least in the WWII genre, possibly other genres, haven’t watched every youtube video ever done) you could find on youtube. In my opinion – especially from a indie film maker.
